Step 1: Unbox and Plug It In

First, carefully take your TV out of the box. Attach the stand legs or mount it to your wall using a bracket. Once your TV is safely in place, plug the power cable into the back of the TV and the other end into a wall outlet.

Step 2: Turn on the TV and Pair the Remote

Step 5: Download the Latest Updates

After connecting to the internet, your VIZIO TV will automatically check for software updates. Let it download and install. Do not turn off your TV during this process. It might restart a few times, which is completely normal.

Step 6: Set Up Your VIZIO Account

To get the most out of your Smart TV, you will need to register it. The TV will display a code and ask you to create or log into a VIZIO account.

Step 7: Scan for Channels (Optional)

If you are using an antenna or direct cable connection (without a cable box), the TV will ask to scan for local channels. If you only use streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, or Hulu, you can skip this step.

4. My remote isn't working, what should I do? 

Make sure the batteries are fresh and inserted correctly. If it still doesn't work, point the remote directly at the bottom right corner of the TV (where the sensor usually is) and make sure nothing is blocking it.
